Lucky Huskies
Lucky Huskies is a division of Scottsdale-based Lucky Dog Rescue, an award winning 501c3 charity. We started the husky division in May of 2016, and to date have saved the lives of over 230 huskies and malamutes. All of these dogs have gone from being injured, ill, abandoned or unwanted to living with loving forever families!
Thanks to our foster families, our dedicated volunteers, and our generous donors, we are able to save more precious souls each year – and we need your help to continue!
Whether you are interested in adopting, fostering or just want to know how you can help, Lucky Huskies is always looking for assistance and volunteers.
We need volunteers with a little time or a lot of time to give! You can do hands-on work with the huskies, such as transport, cuddling or walking, provide services like event coordination and help with social media, or learn a more formal role such as adoption counselor. We provide training for all volunteers.
Our foster families make it possible to save lives. We need emergency, as well as short- and long-term fosters. We can accommodate vacations and specific needs, and we provide everything you need so that there are no out-of pocket costs.
We are an all-volunteer organization and medical and veterinary bills are our largest expense. Our adoption fees cover only the basic expenses, and more than half of our dogs require more extensive medical care when they arrive. Please consider donating to help us rescue and heal more dogs.
